Kitchener Tamil Church - KTC was founded by Pastor/Teacher Kenneth Kingsley with his beloved wife, Mabel Selvarajah, with a vision and calling to heal many broken-hearted people through the amazing love of Jesus Christ.
We recognize the essence of communicating Christ, that Jesus is the Lord and Savior, the Messiah, and that in Him, all things were created in heaven and earth.
The purpose of this proclamation is to present every person complete in Christ Jesus, fulfilling our mission as found in Colossians 1:28.
Our beliefs
At KTC, we believe that Jesus Christ, who was both fully human and fully divine, was born of Mary, from the line of David, was crucified, died, and was raised from the dead.
We believe that spiritual gifts, as described in the New Testament, are still relevant and operational today and are not limited to the early days of the Church.
We believe that proper hermeneutical practices are crucial in Christian preaching to discover the truths and values expressed in the Scripture. Therefore, we understand that the original author had a purpose and message to communicate. The biblical text cannot mean something to us that it never meant to the original author. His intent-NOT our emotional or personal needs-is is the key.
